Irma E. Steinkamp (Potthoff) 1929-1997 The Carroll Daily Times Herald, May 28, 1997 WALL LAKE—Mass of the Christian burial for Irma E. Potthoff of Wall Lake will he at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 1997, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wall Lake. Mrs. Potthoff, 67, died Monday, May 26, 1997, at Loring Hospital in Sac City. The Rev. Leo Riesberg will officiate the Mass. Burial will be in Wall Lake Cemetery. Friends called this afternoon at Farber and Qtteman Funeral Home in Wall Lake. A vigil service will be held at 7 and a rosary will be recited at 7:45 tonight at the funeral home. She was born Oct. 24, 1929, in Sac County, a daughter of Theodore and Julia (Derner) Steinkamp. She and Norbert T. Potthoff were married June 21, 1949, at Breda. Survivors include her husband, Norbert, of Wall Lake; four sons and their wives: Donald and Janice Potthoff of Wildwood, Mo., David and Carlene Potthoff of Breda, Daryl and Dawn Potthoff of Wall Lake and Douglas and Stephani Potthoff of Pauls Valley, Okla.; a daughter, Debra Adams, and her husband, Harley, of Wall Lake; eight grandchildren; a brother, Edward Steinkamp, and his wife, Marjorie, of Wall Lake; and a sister-in-law, Bernadine Steinkamp, of Wall Lake.
