The Breda News, March 1998 Scottsdale, Ariz. - Johanna Boes Doyle, 82, of Des Moines died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at Plaza Health Care in Scottsdale of injuries suffered in a fall several months ago. A funeral Mass for Mrs. Doyle, who was a Breda native, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 23, 1998, at St. Ambrose Cathedral in Des Moines. Burial will be in Des Moines. Friends may call after 7 Sunday night at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines. A memorial service was also held this morning in Scottsdale. She was a daughter of Joseph and Appolonia (Walz) Boes of Breda. Survivors include her husband, Paul, of Des Moines; a daughter, Betty Furguson, and her children, Robin and Tom, all of Scottsdale, three brothers; Rufus Boes, and his wife, Doris, of Carroll, Cyril Boes and his wife, Elsie, and Vincent Boes and his wife, Marian, of Lone Rock, Wis.; three sister; Alvina Eischeid of Bayard, Hilda Lake of Muscatine and Ann White of Scottsdale. Mrs. Doyle was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Ermina Trammel and Edna Ziegmann.
